TAP in the Community
|
 |
TAP's customized programs use theatre as a tool to strengthen community.
|
 |
Recent programs include:
- St. Johns's Saturday's — an ongoing program to sustain Katrina evacuee youth and ease their transition into the community.
- First Night Extravaganza — a New Year's Eve Grand Processional with over 150 participants from East Austin.
Theatre Action Project knows that to serve and foster community, we must respond to the needs of the community. To that end, TAP eagerly parnters with other organizations to create community specifc programs.
Here are some of the groups TAP has worked with:
- Communities in School
- Dallas Health Start
- First Night Austin
- Foundation Communities

- Jewish Women International
- Knowledge is Power Program
