A dynamic blend of creative arts and education. Whether they are exploring diversity through mask and puppet making, acting out folktales in World Theatre classes, writing original performances about their own lives, or creating parades to let other students in their own school know what matters to them, TAP students learn how to think creatively, work as a team and believe in themselves.
TAP offers a wide variety of educational experiences to enrich your student's after-school hours. Our program brings together our commitment to using theatre as a tool to help youth meet the real day-to-day problems they face with our dedication to building literacy, life skills, and knowledge through creative expression. TAP After-School is available on a class-by-class basis, or through our new Artist-in-Residence model, where a TAP teaching artist leads classes at your school five days a week!
Our current curriculum-over three dozen classes-was created in direct response to school and youth needs and the special talents of our highly trained teaching artists. We are always happy to adapt our curriculum to your school's particular needs. All of our classes are carefully researched and are aligned with TEKS.
