Travel around the world to discover fantastic works of art from different cultures. Campers will learn various art techniques to create masks, murals, sculptures and more with their fellow adventurers. On Friday afternoon families are invited to our World Arts Parade, where campers will share what they’ve learned during their adventures in art with a fun outdoor parade.

Week Two:
June 18 – 22: Dance! Dance! Dance!

Movers and shakers and dancers, take the floor! Campers will learn a variety of dances from the traditional capoeira to modern hip hop. Friday’s energetic performance will have you dancing in your seat!  (No dance experience necessary.)
Week Three:
June 25 – 29: Lights, Camera, Action!

If you’ve ever imagined yourself on the big screen or behind a camera, this film camp is for you! Learn the basics of filmmaking from story boarding to cinematography. Roll out the red carpet - campers will create original films with the world premieres on Friday afternoon!
Week Four:
July 9 – 13: Puppet-Palooza

Imagination comes alive at our Puppet-Palooza camp! Discover a world of strange and unusual creatures by building your own unique puppets. Campers will learn a variety of puppetry styles including large-scale pageant puppetry, hand puppetry, shadow puppetry, marionettes and bunraku. Campers will create their own puppet plays to share with friends and family at the end of the week in our Puppet Carnival.
Week Five:
July 16 – 20: Acting Up

You know who never gets in trouble for Acting Up? Actors! Come to this camp to learn the tools of the trade and why acting is so much fun.  We’ll explore Acting A – Z: improvisation and play writing, masks and makeup, Shakespeare and stage combat.  Try on a mask and become a comic character, learn how professional actors fight on stage without getting hurt, and learn the secrets of the acting trade from the pros.  Become an actor and ACT UP!
Week Six:
July 23 – 27: Rhythm and Drums

Feel the rhythm from around the world! Campers will try their hand at different drumming and musical styles from various cultures and make their own instruments to take home at the end of the week.  Friday’s musical showcase will be a real toe-tapper!
Week Seven:
July 30 – August 3: Playmakers

All the world’s a stage! In Playmakers, campers will work together to put on a short play. Campers will learn about teamwork by experiencing all aspects of the production, from the set to the costumes to the performance! Perform original and celebrated stories. Try your hand at director, actor, and designer. The magic of the theatre comes alive in Friday afternoon’s performance!
Week Eight:
August 6 – 10: Songs for the Stage

If you like to sing or even just whistle a tune, you’ll love this week of musical fun. Learn famous show-tunes, choreographed dances and write original music with our guest musicians. Get ready for a standing ovation at the final performance!
